Litmus was commissioned by Rabobank to manage the tendering process for staff catering, hospitality and reception services at the Bank’s London offices.
The Challenge: The brief was to appoint a company which culturally fits with the Bank’s partnering ethos and that can deliver ‘best in class’ in terms or quality and value.
The Solution: We conducted a detailed Consumer Insight Programme before tendering. The outputs formed the basis of the specification and gave an in-depth view of the levels of customer satisfaction and the importance applied to various aspects of the catering service.
The Results: Without compromising quality, we were able to deliver a significant reduction on the catering subsidy (£100k+) together with a sizable level of capital investment funded by the successful contractor. Additionally, Litmus has managed the Bank's cleaning tender on two separate occasions as well as the tender of its security service.
In-depth strategic review of the catering, vending, hospitality, cleaning, reception and security services provided across four UK offices.
The Challenge: Services were provided by two contractors. We analysed options for the service delivery and offer at each site. The prime focus was to ensure customer needs were being met, that continuous improvement was being demonstrated and that the services represented value for money.
The Solution: Litmus undertook a strategic review of services including a Consumer Insight programme (CI). Following presentation of our review we were appointed to manage the re-tender of services via our online tender management system.
The Results: Rationalisation of the four sites under a group contract with a single contractor.
